damn you TVMAX cable! $40 to buy your stupid 1990's cable modem. wtf not wireless capable? need wireless router, guess what I already have my own so suck it!. Yeah tech guy said "Oh I'm sorry we can't support a Linksys calbemodem wireless router combo. WTF why the hell not its the stock cable modem that bestbuy, circuitcity, compusa sells with their comcast/timewarner/coxcable packages. lying dirtbags. If I had the receipt for the Linksys gear, I'd take it back so fast and get in those jackasses faces.
once again they live up to every cable companies rep...7-8 am appointment w/ an hour prior request call...calls at 9:45 and shows up at 10:10.
slackers. If anyone in theatre called in late by over two hours and then showed up even later they would get fired so fast.

is it possible to start my own cable company? net company? I mean really Sara and I only watch about 8 stations on the cable and use the net constantly.

there are moments where watching tv is the worst possible thing ever.
Dont get me wrong, I watch a lot of tv to begin with. some is good/entertaining/educational....
but other times its just drama...
I like watching Law and Order because when something bad happens, usually the bad people get whats coming to em.
Law n Order SVU can be awesome to watch, trying to figure IT out.
but all these episodes of child abuse makes me so furious
Its times like this that I want to join the police and get on a SVU squad myself just to help put away more of these bastards. L&O often takes stories from the news, so some of the things that happen in the show are real. How is it that our society has forgotten so much of what is Right and WRONG!
I think that some damn good homegrown american vigilantism is about to happen if more of these things keep happening.
I don't know how anyone can think that making a child live in a 4'square cage with a waterbottle and chemtoilet is ok.

hmm chris your right math is hard....

car towing capacity: 2,000 lbs
my weight: 250 lbs
trailer weight: 1,389lbs
um thats +/- 400lbs left
so that means i can pack one of the following combo choices:

A: washer & dryer
B: clothes, TV, computer
C: tools
D: sword collection, sporting goods ie bike, paintings
E: bed & microwave

frigging truck rental places are evil. Last week the prices for a rental truck with car carrier was $1,200-1,600. This week the prices are now $800 - 1,100
WTF did people actually move TO tucson for the summer and leave surplus trucks in tucson?

Guess I'm gonna fork out some $ and get a truck, cause hauling a trailer with a 97 toyotal avalon xls with 117,000 miles on it just sounds like a bad idea now

In difficult ground, press on;
In encircled ground, devise stratagems;
In death ground, fight.
~Sun Tzu, The Art of War crica 4400bc

I've lived me life for the last 4 years, pretty close to these ideals.
But damned if I'm not tired of the endless strive to push on, to find a new patch, and most of all I'm sick of playing the "game"... let me stand aside from the fight. let me talk you down if need be.
I want a piece of ground that's MINE. Something beyond belongings or a place to live. Rather, maybe a place to be proud of; to stand tall upon.
It is on that ground that we claim as our own that we find the ability to continue on in our struggles with everything the god throws as us.
I would not ask someone to fight in my place. I will take my strengths and weaknesses within me, but I will stand. No matter how many times you get nocked down, stand. You will be knocked down again and again, but its the act of standing and looking down upon that which we defend and cherish that keeps us living.
The men and women who fought for the original concepts of this country agreed on few things, but one of them was that this land was ours through the toils of our own hands, sweat and tears. They agreed on Life, liberty, and the pursuit of hapiness.
Humans will never know peace because our inherint nature is in conflict. We are born to and live through struggle. I can only hope that our lives can be made better through Life liberty and the pursuit of hapiness, because I'll be damned before I will ever stop trying to live my life to the fullest.
I've stood on the deck of ship and seen the sun rise over the ocean.
I've sat atop a mountain peak while storms crackle with lighting and thunder.
I've stared into the eternal dark of a mine.
I've seen a baby wink with wisdom and an old miser sneer in ignorance.
When I get where I'm going and find it you'll know for while I won't cease to be,
you will see a look upon my face that the world has never seen,
you will see as close to peace as anyone can find.

yeah thats right, f'n'a chuck norris was n my dreams last night. he was hosting one of those home makeover extreme building megamarvel type shows. the project was turning a WWII submarine into a home, but the catch was it was going to be submurged on the bottom as if it had sunk, so all the building was being done underwater. chuck's sponsor was seadoo that makes those recreational seascooter things that pull you along under water.... so those were like our forklifts dragging pressure treatedd 4x4, pieces of steel.
when a subordinate contractor/supervisor type mouths off, it gets taken care off
he dont talk back no mo when chuck norris roundhouse kicks him in the hardhat

to make things worse the location was underneath one of those highway overpass bridges that crosses the neuse river

Yesterday I worked my ass off, came home and wanted to make myself a mixed drink.
I couldn't find my licqour, sadness i know. My luck though had me find it... in the freezer.

I couldn't make myself a mixed drink, not out of lack of ability or already being to drunk, oh know, rather... all the alki in the freezer was frozen.
Triplesec was sludge, the malibu looked like snot, the jager lid was jammed, and the rum well the rum was empty. dunnoh how a half full bottle in the fridge can suddenly empty itself and reinsert itself. I have to say that it made me sad. So sad in fact that had a glass of water instead and went to bed.

May. 16th, 2007 @ 11:55 am teamwork
I think I have now met the most efficient team of 35-55yr old workers on the face of the earth. My landlord died in a plane crash a few weeks ago.. his property was transfered to new ownership. So the new owner and appraisers came today.
The showed up at 9:01 and were done by 9:15.
Each person had an assigned task and did exactly what was necessary. The measured the overall room sizes, outside dimensions, drew a basic groundplan layout, listed appliances, major issues, type of ac/coolr/heater, measured the yard checked elec inside and out, water, gas pressure etc, and they took at least four directional digital photo shots for each part of the house inside and out, checked for termites, roof integrity, open and closed every window, flushed the toilet and turned on the shower.
To measure the outside they used tapereels and had four people run tapes to the corners to get the overall meausrements.

I feel sorry for the one solitary geek they had with him. His job was to compile each mass of data and make it into drafting/drawings/spreadsheets for the rental agency. They did 12+ apartments/houses in exactly an hour

I'm being stalked by two people who want to rent my house when i move...problem is i havent moved yet and they want it now.

The property manager told em to come by today since i told him i was going to be out of town..the idea wasto see the location and overall size.. at most peak in the windows....
my car broke down,no trip, so i used the day as a start packing/sort for goodwill day...
la-dee-da...
got dirty, took a shower, just put on boxers n shorts open the window for the swampcooler to work better and they're on the porch...they see movement so they come to the window to "talk"
scared the bejesus outta me

wonder how many times i can say, "No you cant have it till june 1st"
if they come by again, I'm damn near ready to call the cops cause this is the 4th time they've come around and come on the property without telling me.
Only the landlord is allowed to come in without me here and they have to give at least 48 hrs.

Fish and Game recently release the following suggestion for those of us enjoying nature near crocodile infested waters

"To escape the grip of a crocodile's jaws, push your thumbs into its eyeballs-it will let you go instantly."

Well duh! When I was a lil' kid and bit my brother, thats what he did to me. Damn Straight I sure as hell let go. Then again I'm no croc.
Its almost as good as

"Yell at the animal in startling and threatening manner. The mountain lion is most likely to go away..."

um yeah unless its really really hungry or it decides that its gonna kill you just to shut you up

So its now official. I'm moving to Houston. Yup. thas right I'm gonna be a texan, twisted right
So many of these jobs are nice...great companies/theatres....but all of em are looking for people to start in Aug/Sept.,so I've decided to go with the company that allows me the most room for growth. good ol' advancement in the corporate ladder.

So I'm going to be a Assistant Project Manager for Stagelight.

Good benefits, decent size city, a chance to travel(alot after 1styer)
I get to get ETC and Strand training, plus I'm going to be in on theatre rennovations and new builds, so I'm going to be in and out of theatres all over.

Guess the closest i'm gonna be to schools for awhile is supervising installs in school theatres/auditoriums.

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on that sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

mmmm jobs. yup jobs. its on my mind. constantly. sure its easy to get a job, but one you want? one you can do for 40-50hrs a week? one that pays a decent salary? hell one in a part of town where your not afraid for your life. stupid rant i know but f'n'A I have a masters degree. its degrading to have someone offer you 26grand to work your ass off. I got paid that fresh out of undergrad. why is it that everybody seems to want to offer advice on jobs? I'm fine at first, but it gets worse every day. My parents are by far the furthest in denial. My mom is a physical therapist, well i guess hand therapist, but she can get a job anywhere that there is hand surgery going on or anywhere there are injuries to the hand...and it friggin took her like 5 months to find a job. my dad. he's a trip. He's worked a grand total of i think 4 jobs in his entire life. the one he has now....been doing it for 25 years. yup. i appreciate the gesture of offering advice. but better yet how about offering me a job or point one out to me that might actually be decent to work at. as my second cousin puts it I just got out of the 20th grade. yeah 20 years of school right i know guess what I'm trained i've got skills but pay me people. I'm not going to fucking put soda on the shelf at walgreens for $7/hr. let the fucker who dropped out of school do that shit
I think i'm too tense because i got an offer but its bare minimum. and non of the other places are even ready to start considering me.

so i think that at least one of my headache/migraine types is based off of my sinuses. today, while i was asleep a big stormfront rolled in supposedly to bring some rain.... it wasnt the thunder or the wind that woke me up.
nope, rather, it was the pressure at the base of my skull and a point right on the bridge of my nose between my eyese linked to it.
I totally rolled over today and my first words, other than maraaghaghg aaaaar uuuuuh, which arent words in english, were its going to rain.

and now all of my lovely sport and theatre injuries are screaming tooo

sometimes i wish the boom on that 30' sailboat had nocked my head off instead of dilocating my shoulder and concussing my head
then again if everytime a boom hit someones head, they died, well lets just say thats a lot of bodies that are gonna end up bobbing in the water
